About Johannes Brahms

Johannes Brahms was born May 7, 1833 and he died, unfortunately April 3, 1897. He was a German composer and pianist. He was born in Hamburg and his family were  Lutheran. He was the second oldest out of the three other kids. He started to play piano at age 7. When he was a teenager when he was already a successful musician. Brahms would play at inns and raise money for his low income family.  He spent most of his professional time in Vienna, Austria, where he also died at. He was buried Zentralfriedhof. Fun Fact: He was with sometimes grouped with Johann Sebastian Bach and Ludwig van Beethoven. They were called “Three B’s”. Johannes was rude to adults and very sarcastic  but yet, very kind and generous to little kids. He always had candy in his pockets and would give them to the little children.
